Navajo Nation blasts U.S. for lack of support during coronavirus pandemic 1

Navajo Nation, which includes over 27,000 square miles and around 350,000 people in the southwest U.S., has reported 174 COVID-19 cases and seven deaths as of Wednesday. In addition to the fact that they’re not getting necessary assistance, coronavirus poses a specific danger to tribes because Native Americans have a higher rate of heart disease, diabetes, and other medical conditions.
