Kyrie Irving plans to give more than he receives this birthday.

Irving, who turned 28 Monday, announced that he is donating at least $323,000 to Feeding America in order to help distribute 250,000 meals throughout the New York area, which has been hit hardest by the coronavirus in the United States.

Irving, a New Jersey native, also said he would match $200,000 in outside donations to the cause. The Nets had four players test positive for the disease, including Irving’s best friend, Kevin Durant.
