“We are writing to inform you that a student at Highland Park High School tested positive for COVID-19 on September 28,” Highland Park High School Principal Deborah Finn wrote in a notification emailed to parents, students and staff. “The student is now in isolation. We are closely working with the Lake County Health Department on contact tracing. The health department will contact the student directly and any close contacts will be identified, contacted and provided guidance.”
