“Lisa died due to complications of an AstraZeneca COVID vaccination,” Newcastle coroner Karen Dilks said in an inquest, according to BBC News. Though the 44-year-old was fit and healthy, she had clearly had a very rare “vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia,” which leads to swelling and bleeding in the brain, BBC News said.
