The Celtics defeated the Hornets 113-107 on Wednesday night. Josh Richardson led the way for Boston with 23 points.

Elsewhere, the United States men’s soccer team defeated Honduras 3-0 in a frigid World Cup qualifier in Minnesota on Wednesday. The U.S. is currently second in the CONCACAF standings with three games to go.

Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner (who started for the U.S.) had a humorous summary of how the night went for him as Honduras managed zero shots on goal in the match:

And though the Opening Ceremony isn’t until Friday, the Beijing Winter Olympics are underway. Various events, including curling, hockey, and skiing have already begun.

David Krejci tested positive for COVID-19: Former Bruins center David Krejci registered a positive test for COVID-19 after arriving in Beijing for the Winter Olympics, according to the Associated Press.

Krejci, 35, is currently quarantined in the Athletes Village, and—as Czech head coach Filip Pesan explained on Thursday—might be able to return to team practice on Friday following another round of tests.

With NHL players not participating in the Winter Games, Krejci could potentially be one of the stars of the tournament. After leaving the Bruins in 2021, Krejci returned to his native Czech Republic and signed with HC Olomouc.

The men’s Olympic tournament gets underway with preliminary round games on Feb. 9.
