“There are many communities that that describes, particularly immigrant communities, particularly communities that have felt in recent years very much that they were in danger and in many ways that have receded in terms of how they connect with the rest of our community, pulled back out of fear,” he said. “We’ve got to reach out in a really compassionate, open manner to communities that need a lot more information.”
