coronavirus 1

Yankees radio play-by-player John Sterling missed Wednesday’s game after feeling under the weather.

Sterling, 82, told The Post he tested negative for COVID-19.

“I should be back in the next day or two,” Sterling said.

Sterling was replaced on the Yankees’ broadcast by Rickie Ricardo, who regularly does the Spanish language broadcast.

While the Yankees are in Baltimore, Ricardo and his analyst, Suzyn Waldman, worked from the Yankee Stadium press box. The WFAN crew calls home and away games from Yankee Stadium because of the pandemic.

Last July, Sterling’s streak of 5,058 consecutive games ended.
