On Saturday the Trump Administration announced it is expanding its existing ban on travel to include Iran as a response to the coronavirus outbreak. The inclusion of Iran bars any foreigner who has visited Iran within the last 14 days from entering the US.
- The CDC also raised its travel alerts for Italy and Iran yesterday to Level 3, which is the highest, and means avoid all non-essential travel.
- The State Department raised its warnings advising Americans to not travel to certain areas of South Korea and Italy affected by the coronavirus.
- Trump also hinted he was considering expanding travel restrictions during a pres conference, whcih could include a closure of the US-Mexico border.
