Poultry plants on the Delmarva Peninsula, which includes parts of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia, are facing severe staffing shortages as many employees have tested positive with COVID-19 and are required to stay home until symptoms disappear, a Delmarva Poultry official told the Sun.
