The California counties of Trinity and Alpine moved from the red to the orange tier of coronavirus restriction on Feb. 2.
Sierra is also in the orange category (“moderate” risk), and Mariposa in red (“substantial”). All other California counties remain in the most restrictive tier, purple.
Among the openings allowed in the orange category:
- Indoor restaurant dining at 50% capacity.
- Indoor retail at full capacity.
- Outdoor bars.
- Indoor worship services at 50% capacity.
- Indoor gyms and fitness centers at 25% capacity. Pools can open; hot tubs and saunas remain closed.
