Tymetri Campbell, 38, assaulted the victims around 2:30 p.m. in a common area at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City, about 30 miles west of South Bend, according to police. It was not immediately clear what led to the attack or how it unfolded, but the suspect appears to have stabbed the two officers around the same time the facility experienced a power outage, local news outlets reported.
