Police Commissioner Dermot Shea and another top cop were spotted on social media Tuesday flouting the NYPD’s new policy on masks — a week after the mandate was imposed.

Shea and Chief of Patrol Juanita Holmes were among several cops who went maskless as they posed with teens in an auditorium at One Police Plaza headquarters in Manhattan, the photos on Twitter show.

The NYPD bulletin from last week requires all cops — vaccinated or not — to mask up while dealing with the public.

“All members, regardless of COVID vaccine status, must wear a face-covering in elevators and when interacting with members of the public,” reads the Aug. 17 memo obtained by The Post.

The NYPD didn’t immediately comment on why the pair of high-level department officials broke the rule.

“Crazy, but not surprised,” a police source said after seeing the snaps.

The rule-breaking comes after The Post last week reported that the NYPD told members of the force it would discipline unvaccinated cops who don’t mask up while on the job — regardless of whether they are indoors or outdoors — as part of an effort to slow the spread of the highly infectious Delta variant of the coronavirus.

It also comes as Shea recently urged cops to get inoculated against the bug.

Tuesday’s event, The Blue Chips awards, wasn’t the first time Shea hasn’t followed his department’s face-covering rule.

On Thursday, a post on his Twitter account showed him maskless in three pictures with Staten Island residents and religious leaders.

“I implore each of you who is not vaccinated to please do so immediately,” he wrote Friday in an email. “Do it for yourselves. Do it for your families. Do it for your colleagues and friends.”

On Tuesday, the commissioner also said he is “100 percent” in favor of lawmakers requiring the COVID-19 vaccine for NYPD personnel, though he has stopped short of enacting his own jab mandate.
