The Colorado Avalanche canceled morning skate on Wednesday after a player tested positive for COVID-19 before the Avs road game against the St. Louis Blues.
The Avalanche, in a Twitter announcement, said the positive test was recorded on Tuesday — a travel day for the team. Colorado added that the “person is in isolation and all other staff/players have been negative at this time.” It is currently unknown if Wednesday’s game will be impacted.
