“Our office, in particular, is looking to do more than just share resources; we’re looking to take some action and there’s no better way to take action than to be part of a united front of all city workers working together,” said Education Department staffer Adrienne Hadaway, whose supervisors gave employees the green light to attend Monday’s march. “It was important to be here not just in spirit, but physical bodies.”After the rally at City Hall, staffers marched across the Brooklyn Bridge, which thousands of New Yorkers traversed during last week’s protests, for a vigil at Cadman Plaza.
