Trisha Yearwood tests negative for COVID-19 1

Trisha Yearwood has tested negative for COVID-19 after being diagnosed earlier this year.

“I got the official news that I am covid negative,” Yearwood, 56, shared on Facebook, where she thanked fans for their “love, support messages and sweet tweets!”

The singer also gushed about her husband Garth Brooks’ “Superman”-like actions during her illness.

“My incredible husband is literally Superman and never got covid – but still took all the precautions to keep everyone we know and love safe!” she continued.

Last month, Brooks revealed that Yearwood had contracted COVID after a member of their team had the virus.

“Anyone who knows me knows my world begins and ends with Miss Yearwood, so she and I will ride through this together,” Brooks said in February. “And anyone who knows her knows she’s a fighter and she’s been doing everything right, so I know we’ll walk out the other side of this thing together.”
