Susan Dorety and her husband Michael, a former firefighter, boarded the Grand Princess cruise ship on Feb. 21 in San Francisco, according to a lawsuit she filed. Passengers who had already departed received an email four days later, telling them that they had been exposed, but the Doretys and other guests still on board got no news.
