Titans test positive 1

The NFL’s coronavirus luck might have run out.

The Titans halted in-person workouts on Tuesday after multiple tests inside the organization came back positive for COVID-19. The Vikings, who the Titans defeated on Sunday, also suspended team activities.

According to the NFL, three players and five other personnel all had tests come back positive. The Vikings have not reported any positive tests, yet.

“Out of an abundance of caution, the organization has decided to work remotely (Tuesday) as we follow NFL protocols related to the COVID-19 virus,” the team said in a statement. “Several tests have come back positive and are working through the process of confirming them. We will have more information (Wednesday).

Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell tested positive at the end of last week, but no other members of the organization did and they played their home game against the Bears on Sunday.

“Both clubs are working closely with the NFL and NFLPA, including our infectious disease experts, to evaluate close contacts, perform additional testing and monitor developments,” the NFL said in a statement. “All decisions will be made with health and safety as our primary consideration.”
