I used this product after my doula recommended it when pregnant to keep group B strep away. I enjoyed taking the tablets but when I ran it after I gave birth I decided to stop taking it. Cue a low level sore throat in and off for a few weeks. I ordered these again and felt much healthier overall, no more sore throat. I feel that this helps boost my immunity and keeps my skin glowing. I trust NOW supplements and this is no exception. The pill is large, about the size of a fish oil pill.

My wife and I have tried a few other vitamin C brands previously that gave her awful heartburn. We’ve been taking NOW vitamin C for a while now (on our second bottle) and she hasn’t had any heartburn/acid reflux issues from it. The pills aren’t real small but are easy to swallow in my opinion. I can’t remember the last time I was sick and I believe 100% that taking vitamin C is the main reason. I’m currently taking 2 tablets a day (2,000 mg total). I take one with breakfast and one with supper. I usually increase to 4/day when I’ve been around others that are sick.

Can’t deny the fact that this is one of my best supplements. Does wonders to my skin as well. Remember taking C1000 while pregnant with my second son and I never had any issue with flu even though my first son caught it and was with me all through.Will be buying this again and again. Had to share some of mine with my mom and friend.Great price and quality product.

I take one of these in the morning with my regular daily vitamin. I believe it helps me absorb iron better. At a doctor visit I was pleased to discover that after taking the Vitamin C at 8am, my urine still contained Vitamin C at 4pm. The “sustained release” appears to be true.

Great stuff. I’ve used it since January and haven’t been sick until…. I ran out of it! I take 2,000 mg daily. I breastfeed and know its good for baby too. I have read that high dose vit C can help people get pregnant, for those of you who are looking for another way. The high dose helps flush the body of toxins and I’ve heard up to 4 grams per day is safe to take.

I take this with Selenium and Zinc and Copper to support my thyroid as I have Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. I take a variety of supplements, but consider this trio to be among the most important. The Vitamin C aids activity and absorption of the selenium.

These C’s seem to be OK. However, taking them with any frequency (to ward off cold or infections, or relieve alergy symptoms) can cause some stomach discomfort or even pain. Since they are NOT buffered, they can cause too much acid in the stomach, resulting in acid stomach and heartburn. If you don’t have a sensitive stomach, then they should be just fine.

The bottle was sealed but something is weird about the label. I’ve been comparing it to other bottles of vitamins that I purchased in the US and something is off about it. The print quality seems substandard. Also, I’ve taken many Vitamin C supplements before and they ALL (from US and India) made me have to use the bathroom more often. This one does not. That also makes me feel like they might not be real.

It’s a good product. Genuine. It’s been ranked quite high on Labdoor as well. So u can be rest assured that there is no compromise on quality. According to the lab reports the true amount of vitamin C in this is slightly less than 1000mg. Better go for Nature’s way vitamin C. It’s ranked even higher than NOW foods vitamin C and has around 1070 mg vitamin C as it’s true value.

The local Vitamin C tablets (Glaxo Celin) are much cheaper, but bought these for the convenience as they are sustained release and just one a day is enough. The product was genuine and the capsules were medium sized and not that difficult to swallow.

Color of tablets are different in each bottle. So I really don’t know that whether it is ok or it’s duplicate ?Coz I have never seen color of other medicines change ever. But am not much into health related tablets, so I don’t know whether its common over here or not. People reply if you can help me regarding it. I still got 30 tablets left from my last order. So will start consuming when I get satisfactory reply.
