Love it! I went back an forth between this and the very popular Surefire X300 (which is quite a bit more expensive). What I specifically liked about the Steamlight was the great reviews of the on/off/strobe switch. It is very easy to manipulate – the constant on with your trigger finger or the periodic on/strobe with your support hand thumb). I mounted this on my Glock G40 and couldn’t be happier. The 10mm was purchased for a hunting sidearm and I wanted a light that would ‘reach out’ and light things up. Boy, does this light do that! In the woods at night you’ll see things from a ways off. I also liked the beam that seems to be a little wider than the Surefire (again for the purpose I chose it for in the woods). Warning… it is bright, so if you fire it up in a home or closed environment it will blind you depending on the angle you are with a wall, etc. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and functionality for around $80+ less than I would have spent on the Surefire. You won’t be disappointed with the TLR-1 HL. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: if you get this light, take minute and You Tube the directions on opening the battery compartment. The printed directions suck and if you don’t push the lever all the way back (to ‘pop’ the compartment open) you can get very frustrated trying to get it open (short of breaking it).

I’ve had this light on my P320 Compact Carry for some time now, have ZERO gripes about it. Every time I go to the range it stays on the gun and has endured 1700+ rounds of standard plinking ammo, and many magazines of various +P defensive rounds. It has taken tumbles off my nightstand with the full force of a loaded (albeit unchambered) gun. I explicitly trust this light to help me protect my property and work when I need it the most.It is almost as bright as my Nitecore P12 (1000 Lumens) which is my EDC light and is rated at 800 lumens. The throw is great and it has a focused beam with great peripheral coverage, it illuminates entire rooms and is disorenting to anyone on the other side of it.Tip for other P320 Carry & Compact owners: If you want the light to sit closer to the trigger guard, use the TSW 99 rail peg to get it on the 2nd notch.

I own several Streamlights, but this is without a doubt my favorite one. I mounted it on my Glock 19X because it’s an approximate match in color. If you have been tinkering with firearms for any length of time, you know that NO ONE makes the same exact shade of FDE. The Streamlight is no different. The color is more of a muted gold than an tan. No biggie, it still looks good. And if a $4000 F&N SCAR can have three different shades of FDE on it, so can a $500 Glock. The light is well built and sturdy – as with most Streamlight lights. The strobe function is activated bumping the momentary on side of the switch twice in rapid succession. The light is not overly heavy for the front end of the firearm. IIt’s a good light. Just buy it already…

I bought this for my Glock Gen5 G17. I have other Streamlights, Surefires, etc. The HL series from Streamlight has to be my favorite by far. Several reasons for this. 1. Performance. I have Streamlights on my main RECCE rifle set up as well as my main side arm. Neither have them have yet to fail me after years of hard use. 2. Price. For the price you cannot beat them. No light last forever, but some last longer then others and are cheaper to replace! this light is on par with your best surefire, for a fraction of the cost. I run it side by side to my surefire and the Streamlight is actually better and holds up just as well to my abuse. Size. Size does matter. It’s not heavy, and sticks out just the right amount to not snag, but clear the barrel and give me great all around light. 4. And mainly, Great Light. It puts out a ton of light with a great center spot with a lot spill to see enough around you to keep you butt covered. I highly recommend not only this light, but all Streamlight products!, they will not disappoint.

I purchased two Streamlight 69220 TLR-3 flashlights and then– most recently– this Streamlight 69260 TLR-1 flashlight. They are all fine combat/tactical flashlights, but for the money and the size, I think the Streamlight 69220 TLR-3 is the superior value and design overall. The Streamlight 69260 TLR-1 is only *slightly* brighter, but the form factor looks and *feels* a lot larger. This most recent light install was on a long-slide Glock 10mm– where real estate is no object. So I stuck with the TLR-1.You can see the result below (the TLR-1 is on the left and the TLR-3 is on the right). For a compact pistol I’d go with the TLR-3. For a full-size or long-slide pistol, I’d go with the TLR-1.

Incredible. I originally bought the 300 Lumen TLR-2 w red laser but returned it.The TLR-2 HL G 800 Lumen IS AMAZING.I was initially concerned about trying the green laser instead of red based on the fact that I read that green is better during the day and not as good at night. I have used a red laser before that was not a Streamlight. The green laser is not only good during the day but at night time is incredibly bright and can be seen for what seems like more than a mile. Wow!Lastly for those of you who are wondering if you’ll get splash back because of the 800 Lumen rating against light or white colored walls I have not found that to be the case at all and was very pleasantly surprised. Hope this helps you make informed choices.Get it you won’t be disappointed.

Purchased this light to test and use across multiple platforms and for its price point, its an amazing steal. Although the top item description for the TLR-1 HL states its a 630lm model, the one I received is the updated 800lm model. Price for performance, I find it significantly better than its Surefire counterpart. With the lever system, its actually a bit easier to use the light as compared to the Surefire X300’s in my experience. Additionally, Streamlight’s mounting system for the TLR-1 series is very innovative and easy to use and I have no worries about it coming loose under use.Overall, the light has a good throw and will easily light up a backyard or driveway, I’m quite tempted to get the handheld model and add that to my EDC. If you want a light that offers good bang for your buck, I’d recommend the TLR-1 HL over the Surefires hands down.

Very unhappy with my order… 1. They sent the wrong light I ordered item 26266 the standard FDE… item 29267 showed up which is the FDE (Brown) 2. The box was not sealed the box was previously opened. 3. The light did not include batteries as stated. 4. The handling & shipping took almost a month.. I’m not sure if this light was a display or what happened, very very disappointed…Posted pictures of what I received (29267) middle light in last picture (29266) is what I ordered. Also as you can see the box did not have batteries inside as well as the tape that is normally sealing the box has been removed which I did not remove..I recommend spending the extra money & ordering elsewhere.

The item that arrived was not a streamlight TRL-1 HL, it was a no name product that was stuffed in a Streamlight box, with instructions from a TRL-1…and it didn’t even work….sent it back to amazon and within a week a real TLR showed up at the door….perfect, thank you ….

This light is worth the money. Build and finish are great. Very durable (and waterproof). It is bigger than I thought it would be and adds noticeable weight to your firearm. The weight is well worth it. The activation switch is again great quality and is easily activated with your support thumb. The light is pretty intense for indoor use (be cognizant of reflective surfaces), but works well indoor and out. The beam has nice spill that makes for quicker room clearing as opposed to some lights and their spotlight beams. Runs on two cr123’s. The light installs very easily and snaps on with spring tension while you hand tighten the adjuster. Overall very happy with this purchase and would recommend it. I would also like to mention that I had absolutely fantastic customer service from amazon with this purchase.

Ultra high quality light. Feels hefty and stable when mounted. Mounting mechanism is the best I’ve seen. Holds zero very well on an airsoft pistol, but I can’t comment as to a real firearm. Feels like it warrants the hefty price tag because of the performance and reliability you get.

Very well made and tough piece of equipment. Laser washes out in strong daylight – Light is very powerful with a broad unfocused beam allowing peripheral object recognition. Selection of light / laser combinations very intuitive. Expensive but worth it.

Easily one of the best weapons light on the market. It’s at home on your pistol or rifle. There’s a constant on mode and momentary on, as well as, a strobe mode. A great use if a tactical light isn’t just for putting light on your target, but to add weight to the front of your weapon to stay on target during rapid engagements. Great for any competition shooter out there.

Works very well, although I’m not a fan of the way the tail switch works, but the pressure pad looks good. Will return and look for a Surefire.

Small, blinding, easy to use. Batteries are tricky to figure out at first due to a weird hinge door setup, like a watch clasp. Really expensive, but has second kind of cool factor and a name you can trust
