So I just turned fifty. I figured, I better start taking a supplement because you know, I’m fifty and the Dr. said I was low on Vitamin D so instead of just taking a Vitamin D pill, I thought I’d take one with everything in it. Cover the bases.Now this may just be anecdotal or psychosomatic but since I’ve started taking this, one of my ‘age’ ailments has lessened. I have an impinged rotator cuff. Limits the range of motion for lifting my arm before the pain kicks in. In the two months I’ve been taking this, my range of motion has improved greatly. Now it could be my body is just healing itself normally but the pain lessened shortly after I started taking the supplement. Coincidence? Possibly. But it was not getting any better prior to taking this and no form of ibuprofen or Tylenol helped lessen the pain like this has.My best guess is whatever is in this has reduced the swelling in the bursa that was impinging my shoulder allowing me a greater range of motion. So I consider it a bonus to all the additional vitamins and minerals I’m getting.Additionally, one of the claims on the label is healthy blood pressure. I haven’t seen that. My BP averages 140/90. It has not moved down at all since taking this.The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is that this pill is huge. I have no trouble with pills but if you have any trouble swallowing pills this is not for you.

This vitamin has everything I was looking for in a once-daily multivitamin, including one aspect that other multivitamin makers completely disregard: “swallowability.” I will upload a photo showing the difference in size/shape between this vitamin and the vitamin (in my case) it replaced, the “Amazon Elements Mens Once Daily” multivitamin.

Has a nice list of Vitamins and Minerals in it. And if that was all, I would rate it a 4 star. However, the “other” ingredients include dyes… why? The body has no use for them.

These blue vitamins arrived with Blue #1 Lake and Blue #2 Lake dye listed as an ingredient. The FDA recommends against these dyes. I called One a Day. They sent me a coupon to replace the vitamins and told me that the dyes were no longer used. I have gone to a few stores to use the coupon on the “new dye-free” formulation. I cannot find the new formula anywhere. And the One a Day website still lists the 2 dyes in the ingredients. Maybe they were just blowing smoke at me with the “We have a new formula” story.
Not A Lot Of Money “Mom” –
It’s a great vitamin. If you compare them, it is comparable to Centrum Silver. My husband takes one a day, as prescribed. Hard to write much about a vitamin, unless there is something negative to say and I have only good things to say about these. People take them for the added vitamins and supplements they will get from them, and these have what you are looking for. My husband has no problem swallowing them. I, however, can’t buy the women’s equivalent of these because I have trouble swallowing them. They feel like they get stuck in my throat. But, as I said, my husband has no problem with swallowing them and he’s the one who takes them so, that’s a plus.

They’re vitamins so it’s hard to rate them because how do you judge if they’re working? I’m giving them a shot and the brand is one I trust so I don’t think they’ll do any harm. I’m hoping they improve eye health as well as general overall health. I’ll update this after I finish the bottle.
