I have been on the search for the best nitrile glove. I have tried a dozen or more different gloves from different manufacturers. I have used the one size fits all from home depot and the heavy duty from harbor freight. So i have a little experience.I am in residential remodeling focusing on plumbing, eletrical, drywall, and tile. I started wearing gloves while grouting tile. Now i will put a pair on when i get to work and leave them on all day.I was searching around for xxl sized gloves and came across these. I figured i would give them a try. The box has twice as many pairs compared to other higher quality gloves. These also have little diamond pattern bumps for extra grip. I am not sure if they really help. The overall texture of the glove is porous which seems to help with grip.Overall these gloves are junk. They are thin and tear easily. There are plenty of better gloves out there. My current favorite is the Supreno ec ny microflex aka ansell. The supreno has a high cuff which is great if you are working with liquids. I can wear the same pair all day long with it them tearing.I recommend skipping these green gloves and trying the supreno. The supreno are the same gloves that are used by la county fire department. Here’s a tip. Go to the microflex website and pick out some gloves. They will send you samples to try out.

For a high-thickness glove..these aren’t very thick, and they tear quite easily. I used to be an EMT and used Mckesson’s Nitrile 911McKesson NITRILE 911 Non-Sterile Nitrile Chemo Rated Exam Gloves Large – Box of 100 exam gloves (which are apparently ~6 mil), I now work as a carpenter and had some leftover Mckesson gloves which would last me a whole 8 hr day on the jobsite usually without tearing and felt a lot thicker than these supposedly 8 mil Gloveworks gloves. I went through a whole box (100) of these gloves, and had to replace the gloves 2-3 times each day, they’d usually only last about 30-60 minutes before they tore, whereas the Mckesson Nitrile 911’s usually lasted the entire day.I definitely won’t be purchasing these again, they say 8 mil, but I’m suspicious, they feel much thinner.

These gloves are probably the worst 8 mil gloves I’ve used in the shop. I bought a case of 1000 of them having purchased similar gloves like them in the past (I think they were Tiger gloves). However, these break very easily when you try to put them on. You have to be very careful sliding them on or they will tear. This bothered me, but I thought maybe I was being a little too rough with them. I even purchased the larger size than I normally wear (XL). When they are on, they usually hold up well for most activities. Then the other day for the life of my I could not get a pair on, they kept ripping at the palm. I took a closer look at them and noticed that they all have minor defects in them. Tiny holes or weak spots where there was a crease. I’m not sure if this was from a manufacturer defect or occurred by being crammed into the box, but if you look closely at the pictures, you will see what I mean.I examined random gloves from each of the boxes from the crate and found these tiny holes. It was throughout the entire case. I ended up returning the gloves. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch, but beware if you order them.

For those wondering about the “pairs” that I have read in comments. The grippys, or texture of the gloves are on both sides, top and bottom, so its not like you have 50 left gloves and 50 right gloves. They are Ambidextrous. I use them in the colder months as a mail carrier. Keeps my hands from drying out and helps separate the mail. Haven’t had one rip yet. I usually use nitrile gloves but this is the first time I have used the textured ones. They are great. I have small hands, 6 3/4″ from wrist to end of middle finger and 3 1/2″ for palm(does not include thumb) and the mediums fit perfect for finger length. No excess at finger tips.

Disposable gloves are literally something you throw away, but you want to be as durable as possible. Economics have given us thin trashy rubber gloves that are awful. However, these gloves cost more and are worth every damn penny.Test 1: I bought these to change kitty litter boxes. I have now changed at least ten boxes without a single tear. No kitty pee on my hands. The grips help when lifting the boxes to empty them out so they do not slip. A+ rating for changing kitty litter boxes. The previous “heavy duty” Sams Club gloves would sometimes tear, drenching my hands with cat piss. Ew. I could wash my hands with sulfuric acid six times and still feel unclean after that. I can only imagine how my cats feel after licking their own genitals clean.Test 2: I have been painting my house lately, and wear these when removing paint rollers and rinsing the handles off to clean them. No paint bleeds through. It is impossible not to get some paint on one’s hands when cleaning up, but I have had minimal paint on my hands and zero tears even when muscling the rollers off the handles.Final test: I was already thinking “these are five star gloves” when my wife came to me with a hazmat-suit-worthy task: remove the toilet off the floor so we can redo the flooring in the bathroom. Wearing a single pair of these gloves I effortless picked up the toilet and relocated it to a dropcloth-covered temporary location, then proceeded to scrape the nasty wax out of the crevices of the flange using my glove-protected fingers. I got the poop-hole as clean as I could then declared the job done. I removed the gloves, and gingerly sniffed my now-bare fingers: no scent. I inspected them: I would not need to visit FEMA to disinfect my digits. A quick hand wash later and my hands were fit to serve the Queen of England.Verdict: these are by far the best disposable rubber gloves I have ever used. The grips work: even a pee-soaked kitty litter box does not slip while wearing them. They have stood up to kitty litter, latex paint, and the inner depths of a toilet flange without a single tear, and not a single drop of nastiness has seeped through. These may not protect from certain cleaning chemicals: I have not tested that, but I also see they are not OSHA-rated for certain tasks. All I know is what I have used them for, and they have stood up without a single defect. I highly recommend them for the tasks in this review.

I’ve grown accustomed to Grease Monkey’s 8 Mil Nitrile gloves, but thought I’d give these a shot. At less than half the price per pair, it was worth the experiment. They are definitely not as durable as the Grease Monkey gloves, and it’s noticeable almost right away. These tend to tear at the finger tips, and also had a bad habit of ripping at the wrist when I’d try to remove them.Having said that, they’re still great value. Unless you are going to be using gloves all the time every day, I’d say save some $ and buy AMMEX, you likely won’t be disappointed. If you’re doing a lot of heavy duty, grimy work, however, go with Grease Monkey. They’re in a class all their own.

Bought these to try instead of the cheap latex ones I got from the drug store. The are fantastic. Fit great and the 8 mil thickness makes them strong but I can still feel things through them. One of the spicy food dishes I prepare I use a hot pepper jerk sauce rub. The hot pepper used to irritate my hands so I tried gloves. These work the best I have tried and keep the hot pepper sauce off my skin. I still am using the same pair for 4 times now for food prep. I simply wash my gloved hands with soap and water, remove the gloves and let them dry. So far haven’t broke. They are very very strong.I have also used a different pair for cleaning the bathroom to keep the bleach and other chemicals from my hands. Excellent product and versatile. Some day when I run out of these I will buy exactly the same ones.

  8. Raul

I find the material of the gloves resistant, and the rough surface allows to hold very well. The problem is that I bought size large that normally fits me very well, but this “large” is generously a medium size , so the gloves are a little tight .

  9. Maude robert

  10. toronto-shopper-88

Like other reviewers say, the sizing seems a bit smaller than advertised. I recommend ordering one size larger than your usual size if you’re a guy. Otherwise, the material is fairly durable and suits my needs just fine (I use it for handling food). I can see it being useful for light projects in the garage as well. Great value compared to other disposable gloves. Would buy again but a size larger.

  12. MiaOhMia

the gloves are quite durable once u have them on, I can take them on off (not like fabric gloves, but with a bit of care) several times. anytime they ribbed was due to sharp objects or damp skin while putting the glove on. 8mil gloves are not cheap, but worth the money if u use them more than once (depending on what u handle with them obviously.

En mi caso rompía los más delgados continuamente, estos aguantan mucho y tienen buen tacto aunque para algunas cosas sí es necesario usar más delgados. Muy recomendables

  14. Susan C.

Im a nail Technician and Im fery sensitive now to acetone. My thinner nitrile gloves were not helping and I was suffering badly with peeling skin but these have turned things around.Thank you !!!!

  15. LB

These are very impressive latex gloves. Found that your basic latex gloves would always rip/tear when working on my vehicles but these gloves are noticeably stronger and I have not had any rip or tear. Bonus is that they have “raised diamond texture” which helps with grip. I also don’t mind the color.

  16. TrevorNoah

Overall, great product! First time I used this kind of disposable gloves and they are comfortable. They are also durable and the green color is bright. I think 100 gloves will last quite some time. Highly recommended

  17. Julio

  19. Amazon Customer

bought these gloves for our mechanics in the shop – they are very strong and durable, plus the grip helps them hold their tools better, especially when greasing or changing the oil in the equipment

  20. Adrian427

I’ve used the gloves for all sorts of things, from working on our cars, to painting, to plumbing. They are surprisingly durable, and way more inexpensive than a lot of other options out there. I’ll be buying these from now on.
