Dehydration is the healthiest, easiest, and most economical way to preserve foods. Load the trays and set the temperature, the Excalibur dries the contents of all trays evenly so everything's done at once. Dehydration concentrates the natural flavor, sweetness, and aromas of your food. Leaving...

Being a raw vegan I use the dehydrator all the time. It is the best one in the market in my humble opinion. It is simple and as valuable as gold.

I have only had this Dehydrator for about 10 days so far and I have used it almost every day and I love it, I couldn’t be happier the results are fantastic. It has loads of room and the sheets are really easy to clean. My previously dehydrator was cheaper but didn’t last, I wore it out, now with that one, one mango took 2.5 trays with this dehydrator I can get one mango on each tray. I also find it very useful for crisping up homemade biscuits.

Product arrived the following day after placing my order. I am new to dehydrating, so I am taking it slowly to start off. Just dehydrating fruits, but I am planing to make some onion bread in it next. Visually it looks good in the kitchen, about the same size as a microwave, noise wise, you know it’s on but it’s not horrendously noisy. About the level of a dishwasher.

I like the simplicity of this although it is a bit pricey. That being said the machine doesn’t stop as I think it’s supposed to when the timer runs out or make a noise, effectively making the timer useless. The clock goes down though and it seemed too much hastle to send back for the minor inconvenience of being around when times up. Lost a star here though.

Brilliant , I’m still experimenting with different foods but I can’t fault this dehydrator one of the best!

Have bought this item before and very happy with it so we bought a second one. Unfortunately, this time one of the flexible mesh tray inserts was missing. There is no option for leaving feedback to the seller, hence hopefully this review will serve to pass the message on.

This dehydrater is quite sizeable, so you can put in lots of goodies to dry. It’s well worth paying the extra because it works like a dream. It has a very good instruction book, with lots of tips. I’ve been drying lots of apples and pears. It’ suggests drying live food below 50degrees C , in order to preserve the enzymes. So this is what I’ve been doing, they take about 7 -8 hours and it does a great job. This machine is made in the USA and the quality tells

Had a more basic dehydrator and had my eye on upgrading to this for a long time. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this food dehydrator! I has a much smaller one that couldn’t hold much and it was frustrating to go to the effort to prep food to dry only to be able to do so little of it at a time, so I took the plunge and bought this Excalibur model and am so happy I made the change. This dehydrator fits on my kitchen counter under the cabinets just fine and it has enough capacity to do a five pound bag of sliced potatoes plus several trays of other produce at the same time. My other dehydrator could manage about 3 pounds of sliced potatoes at best, so I love having more capacity.I’m still fairly new to food dehydration so I refer to a book I bought for the proper way to prepare food items and for drying time and temperature, then I follow those directions and I’m having nothing but success so far. My other dehydrator had open plastic mesh trays that food items could fall through as they dried, but that isn’t a concern thanks to the poly-screen tray inserts in this Excalibur. Now I can shred potatoes and dry them in order to have hash browns on hand whenever we want them without having them slip through the screens as they dry. By the way, we rehydrated some to see what they were like and it’s like having freshly shredded potatoes. So much more useful for what we want to do than canning! (Now I have a large All American Pressure Canner I no longer want)I bought some non-stick liners to use when making fruit leather but haven’t tried it yet. This dehydrator seems to get much better air flow through the trays than my other one did because vegetables are drying more quickly even though they’re set at the same temperature they were in the other machine. It does produce some fan noise, but nothing that I find obnoxious. It’s easy to operate, signals when the time is up, and the trays are super easy to clean up so I’m very happy with the purchase. I think small dehydrators are useful as a way to learn about dehydrating foods, but this is a model I’d recommend getting if you’re serious about doing it.

Last September we purchased one of these “Excalibur 3926TB 9-Tray Electric Food Dehydrators” from Amazon. It lasted about six months and then the fan stopped turning. I admit that we use dehydrators all day long, almost every day; however, last September we also bought a “Costzon 630W Electric Food Dehydrator 10 Drying Trays Food Preserver Fruit Dehydro Commercial” from Amazon. The Costzon dehydrator is still working very well. The price of the Costzon dehydrator is less than half the cost of the Excalibur dehydrator, and it lasts much longer.

I wanted to let you know that Excalibur dehydrators has gone out of business.
They haven’t answered my emails for 6 weeks and their phone number is disconnected.
