These wipes are a saturated roll of paper towels vertically situated in a dispensing canister. Their main claim to fame is as an anti-bacterial – a claim I can’t test but I accept that they do disinfect based solely on their brand which has a long history of disinfecting this or that.In use, the good news is that they smell all right and not at all like the expected smell of laundry bleach. The bad news is that they don’t clean very well. They leave a film behind which dulls Formica but which is acceptable but hardly desirable. Not nearly as acceptable is the same film when left on reflective surfaces such as stainless appliances. To use on these reflective surfaces I had to wipe using these towels and then buff off the residue using a dry paper towel. Also, the towels lack sufficient strength at the perforations to dispense properly. Instead, they’d break and I’d have to remove the dispensing lid and fish about in the container for the next towel to use. This happened maybe every other towel. It turned into major annoyance by the time I was finishing up wiping down the kitchen. Note: use gloves unless you’re ok having your hands smell of odd perfume for hours after use.The idea of an easy to use anti-bacterial cleansing cloth is attractive but the downsides of this specific product in effectiveness and convenience make its use problematical.

There are two types of disinfecting wipes here, Ultra Clean which are thick and textured on both sides and are better on tough stains and messes and the disinfecting wipes which are a little thinner. Both are nicely sized and kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses from surfaces. They are both pleasantly lemon scented and don’t have any chlorine smell to them.We normally use Skoy cleaning cloths for most kitchen and some spot floor cleanups. But there are some applications, like toilet seats and rims where I would rather use an antibacterial cleaner. They are also good on shower tiles, where no matter how much we squeegee the walls and tiles after a shower, we always seem to end up with some mold. These should help to prevent that. They are also great for cleaning up pet “accidents” on our tile floors. They’re handy and easy to use and can be disposed of after using.
