My husband purchased a strong car air freshener and the scent stayed in his jeep for awhile. I usually get dizzy when I ride his jeep with the scent. I heard about the ionizer fr my cousin and purcahed this. The snell went away like a magic. However, when the engine is off, the ionizer is not doing its job either. Otherwise, if it is on it does the trick. So only when the engine is on when it doesn’t work.

I dont know if mine is defective or not, but it has made absolutely no difference in the odor in my truck after several days of continuous use. Im giving it two stars because the usb charging works. However, that is not why I bought the item. So, decent charger, worthless as an air purifier.

This product does exactly what it says. The smells in my car go away quickly. No more lingering french fry smells. or musty road trip sales. It comes with a bonus chord that has 3 different adapters which is super nice and accommodating. The only compliant i have, it sometimes pops out of the port so it stops working. I notice this because the blue light goes out. The blue light is very soothing and not distracting.

I put this in my minivan and it works as advertised. It’s not a miracle worker, but it will clear up odor in the car over time. The USB ports are great for charging my phones. The one drawback is the short connection cable provided, it is not practical for use if you cannot rest your phone close to the ionizer. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase

Folks, let me tell what a great and high quality product the manufacturer has created. I transport people for a living and my personal space is usually taken away. By Nature and environment alone we have different smells that we are not aware of. That being the case this air purifier makes me breathe comfortably when I have passengers on-board for one hour rides both ways. I was wary of the hype at before I made the purchase as I have tried similar products for the past 25 years that were useless. This purifier is a fantastic improvement, whisper quiet, truly removes the smells, and has a lightning fast cell phone charger built in. The idea of including charger plugs for all phones was ingenious. I am a happy customer as I did make the right choice.

After a month of regular usage I can fairly say it’s become an expensive, but fancy looking car charger. The blue light comes on and the copper looks great with my beige car interior, but there’s no indication it’s actually working to purify the air. No sound, no whirring, no suction.. nothing. It came with a little car fragrancer, but other than initially masking the smell, it hasn’t removed any of the cigarette smells that permeates my small car. As an air purifier, I’d give it no stars, but the dual chargers are working fine so gave it 2 stars for the charger and design.

I have no clue if it is working currently, but I just got it so I cannot say much. Like some other reviews have said, there is a bright blue light that cannot be dimmed so it is not fun to use at night unless you cover it up. I also worry that it may use up some of the car battery because it is still working even though the ignition is off (I’m mostly worried about this since our car has had some battery issues for a while and we would like it to last until spring)
