This is currently my favorite brand of pure essential oils! I have used them for the past 20 years and they are consistently potent! This is the first one I have ordered in a number of years and their consistency continues on! I am excited by the good strong scent of this Myrrh with NO chemical scent at all! I expect this to work exceptionally well topically just as all the other AuraCacia oils. I have recently ordered and received a few other brands of ‘pure essential oils’ and a couple of them were NOT what they claimed to be. I am able to compare any oils I receive to my previous Aura Cacia oils that have proven themselves to me. There have only been a couple that have proven themselves to be as potent as Aura Cacia. ( I am not of the mind that you must pay crazy high prices for good pure therapeutic grade essential oils. )

Aura Cacia is a safe bet when torn between different companies offering the same oil for a similar price. This oil is fresh, and does not evidently from old stock. Further, the myrrh is strong. Initially, it does not have a nice smell on the skin, but develops into a very woody antique musky aroma. Man, I can’t get enough of this. It’s like a sleeping pill for me and it smells amazing! In the Midwest as autumn approaches we have a lot of hornets flying around bugging me when I’m trying to get the last rays of the year.Well, guess what? It looks like bees hate the smell. They fly up, take a whiff, and split just as fast. Perfect!This is truly a good product. That ans their frankincense.

Omg. I combined Aura Cacia essential oils with Shea butter and used this after rinsing off my KelpOre mineral clay masque. The KelpOre is very detoxifying but my skin feels dry after so I made a body butter to follow up using Aura Casia helichrysum, frankinsense and grapefruit essential oils. Wow. My legs never looked so smooth and silky. And no cellulite! I have to remember to do this before putting on a swim suit. Nice legs!!!! Great quality brand. Good smells and the oils are effective the way they should be.

Have used and liked Aura Cacia oils in the past but perhaps their quality is slipping. Have used several brands of myrrh oil and used to purchase myrrh resin for incense. I agree w/ the other reviewers who said this does NOT have a myrrh scent at all. No way it is pure myrrh oil. Smells like medicine–unpleasant odor.

I usually get native American nutritional’s myrrh which is very heavy but I decided to try aura cacia which turns out to be a little less heavy and the scent is lighter. It seems to work just as well and the price is much better so all in all this is the way I will go in the future

I purchased this particular essential oil to make a mouthwash recipe for thrush. I have had a systemic candida infection (2nd to steroid epidural injections) for over 2 years. I have been on every available medical treatment with no real success. It can make you feel really bad when it becomes acute. I have now resorted to more natural methods which have actually kept it more latent. Mixed with vodka and peppermint, lemon, & thyme essential oils it makes a great mouthwash for thrush. I was having a moderate flareup & used it the first time prior to going to sleep. The thrush was significantly better the next morning. I have only used this brand of essential oils since I became interested in essential oils a few months ago. I have been pleased with the quality of all the oils that I have purchased. This brand was recommended by a local health food/products store that has been in business since 1970. Aura Cacia tests all of their batches of essential oil for purity. It is also a good oil for aging skin when diluted with a carrier oil.
