The Rockies’ series opener against the Padres on Monday at Coors Field has been postponed due to inclement weather.
Colorado and San Diego will make the game up in a doubleheader on Wednesday. The first seven-inning game will begin at 1:10 p.m., with the second game starting no later than 45 minutes after the first one ends.
Tickets for Monday’s game that were purchased directly from the Rockies will be refunded. Only tickets for Wednesday afternoon’s originally scheduled series finale will be valid for the doubleheader. Those tickets are good for one or both of the games, and the ballpark will not be cleared between games.
The teams are now scheduled to begin the series on Tuesday, with a 6:40 p.m. first pitch.
