The Interfaith Alliance of Colorado held a vigil Monday evening at Shorter Community AME Church in Denver, almost one year after the death of George Floyd on Monday, May 24, 2021.
Participants gathered for the event, held for survivors of police violence, mass incarceration and racism, days after the Denver Reimagining Public Safety Task Force released 112 recommendations to change policing and public safety in Denver.
