The district instituted a mask mandate for all people entering its buildings last week, according to local ABC affiliate KSAT. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott attempted to ban such rules in schools, but districts and local governments have pushed back, including in Bexar County, which includes San Antonio and allows mask requirements in schools.
